2023 Easter opening hours: markets and customer experience

When is Easter 2023?

Good Friday and Easter Sunday this year are on the 7th and 9th of April, two weeks earlier than last year. Easter is a festival and holiday that, unlike Christmas, doesn't have a fixed date. It's celebrated on the first Sunday that follows the full moon that occurs on (or just after) the spring equinox.

Tips for accessing your CurrencyFair account during public holidays:

  1. To log in to your CurrencyFair account or to add a new bank account, you'll need to complete two-factor authentication. CurrencyFair supports two-factor authentication in two ways:

    • Phone - using your registered primary number, we'll send verification codes by text message or automated phone call.

    • Google Authenticator - you can opt in to Google Authenticator from your CurrencyFair profile. Find it on the App Store for iOS and on Google Play for Android. For even greater convenience, sync the Google Authenticator app to your CurrencyFair account.

  2. To manage issues with accessing your primary phone number when abroad, add a secondary phone number in the My Profile > Phone Numbers section of your CurrencyFair account.

  3. Include your CurrencyFair ID when topping up your CurrencyFair account - this will mean that funds can be added to your account even if the office is closed.

Wishing you a safe and happy Easter!
