CurrencyFair has reduced the minimum transfer requirement in our referral program from €2,000 to €1,000, so CurrencyFair customers and their friends can earn more for less.
Recently, we conducted a customer survey to get customer feedback on our Refer a Friend program. The most popular request was to reduce the minimum transfer amount required for customers to earn their €30 referral reward. So we did just that.
Inviting friends is the key to saving on international money transfers with CurrencyFair. The more people who join and trade, the better the exchange rates become on our peer-to-peer network.

How to earn €30 after referring friends to CurrencyFair
When a non-CurrencyFair account holder uses a referral code or link to sign up, this appears in the existing customer’s account under My Referrals in our mobile app or under Transaction Overview in currencyfair.com. This is how customers can track how many people they have referred and how much they have earned with their code.
How to earn €30 after being referred to CurrencyFair
New customers that sign up via a referral code must verify their identity. The €30 reward will be issued to their CurrencyFair account after they trade and transfer of a minimum of €1,000 or the currency equivalent from their CurrencyFair account.

Rewards are issued when a person referred via a referral code or link carries out a trade and transfer using CurrencyFair. From 22 July 2019, the minimum transfer required is €1,000 or the equivalent in the relevant currency.
