CurrencyFair is delighted to announce the appointment of Jan Lorenc as its new Divisional CEO. This appointment underscores CurrencyFair’s commitment to driving innovation and growth in the global fintech landscape.
Jan Lorenc brings extensive experience in cross-border payments, blockchain, and financial services, with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation at leading global organisations. Most recently, he served as Global Head of Digital Assets Group and CEO of Nevada UAB at NUVEI, where he played a key role in restructuring the company's payments strategy to focus on B2B payments powered by blockchain technology.
Prior to that, Jan led growth and expansion efforts at Banxa, Wirex, and TransferMate Global Payments. His focus at Banxa and Wirex was on shaping strategic initiatives, particularly on/off ramping solutions and card issuance programs, to enhance customer access to digital assets. Earlier in his career, Jan held leadership roles in sales teams focused on e-commerce, card acquisition, and treasury solutions at JP Morgan, Allied Irish Bank, and Anglo Irish Bank.
Jan holds a law degree from the University of Regensburg, Germany, and an MBA with a focus on financial management from the University of Virginia, USA.
